The PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty Course introduces divers to the sidemount diving configuration, where scuba cylinders are mounted alongside the diver instead of on the back. This system provides greater comfort, improved balance, flexibility, and easier equipment management underwater.

The course includes:
A theoretical session covering:
Fundamentals of sidemount diving
Proper equipment setup and configuration
Gas management using dual cylinders
Buoyancy and trim control
Safety procedures and emergency management
Practical confined water training including:
Sidemount equipment assembly and adjustment
Regulator switching and gas management skills
Improving underwater trim and movement
Emergency drills and problem-solving exercises
3 training dives in the Red Sea, where participants apply sidemount diving skills under the supervision of professional instructors.
This course helps divers improve comfort, efficiency, and technical diving skills while gaining experience with one of the most versatile diving systems available.
Course Prerequisites:
Participants must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent).
