Paldivers Diving Center—often referred to as Pal Divers—stands out as a pioneering initiative in the development of scuba diving in Palestine. Established in Jerusalem, it is recognized as the first diving center of its kind in the region, created with a clear mission: to introduce, promote, and professionalize the sport of diving among Palestinians.

Founded in 2005 by Samir Al-Sharif, the center reflects both passion and long-term expertise. Al-Sharif, a highly experienced diving instructor with more than 25 years in coaching and training, envisioned Paldivers as more than just a training facility—it would be a gateway for Palestinians to access the underwater world, develop technical skills, and participate in an internationally recognized sport.

Since its founding, Paldivers has played a key role in building a local diving community. It offers structured training programs, promotes safety standards, and encourages environmental awareness related to marine ecosystems. By doing so, the center not only introduces individuals to diving as a recreational activity but also fosters discipline, confidence, and connection with nature.
