PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course

The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course is one of the most exciting and adventurous PADI specialties, allowing divers to safely explore sunken ships, wrecks, and underwater structures while learning proper wreck diving techniques and safety procedures.

This course focuses on dive planning, proper equipment use, navigation, and safe diving practices around and inside wreck environments.

The course includes:

A theoretical session covering:

Fundamentals of wreck diving

Wreck dive planning

Hazard assessment and safety procedures

Use of reels and guideline systems

Navigation and limited visibility techniques

Respecting and protecting marine environments and historical wreck sites

4 training dives in the Red Sea, where participants practice:

Safe exploration of wreck sites

Use of reels and guideline systems

Navigation around wreck structures

Limited and safe wreck penetration dives depending on site conditions and diver experience

This course provides divers with unique adventure diving experience while emphasizing safety, awareness, and proper wreck diving discipline.

Course Prerequisites:

Participants must hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent).
