The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty Course is one of the most practical and enjoyable diving specialties, teaching divers how to safely locate and recover lost objects underwater using specialized search techniques and recovery equipment.

This course focuses on improving navigation skills, dive planning, teamwork, and underwater problem-solving during search and recovery operations.

The course includes:

A theoretical session covering:

Underwater search techniques and methods

Different search patterns and procedures

Planning search and recovery operations

Use of lift bags and specialized recovery equipment

Safety procedures and dive team coordination

4 training dives in the Red Sea, where participants practice:

Performing different underwater search patterns

Compass navigation and underwater navigation techniques

Locating submerged objects

Recovering items using lift bags and specialized equipment

This course provides divers with advanced practical experience and increased confidence in handling underwater challenges while working effectively as part of a professional dive team.

Course Prerequisites:

Participants must hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent).
