PADI Assistant Instructor Program

The PADI Assistant Instructor Program is the next professional step after the Divemaster level and is designed for divers who want to advance their leadership and teaching skills while moving toward professional scuba instruction.

This program prepares participants to work as certified Assistant Instructors, capable of assisting PADI Instructors during training programs, conducting selected teaching activities, and supervising students according to PADI international standards.

The program includes:

Theoretical Training:
Advanced academic development covering:

PADI educational philosophy and teaching system

Teaching and evaluation techniques

Student and course management

PADI standards and instructional procedures

Risk management and training safety

Presentation and communication skills development

Practical Training:
Includes intensive confined water and open water sessions focusing on:

Conducting academic and practical teaching presentations

Evaluating student performance

Organizing and managing training sessions

Leadership and supervision skill development

Assisting instructors during practical courses

Developing in-water and classroom presentation skills

Practical training is conducted under the direct supervision of highly experienced PADI instructors and according to the highest international training and safety standards.

Program Requirements & Prerequisites:

Participants must hold a PADI Divemaster certification (or equivalent)

Minimum age: 18 years old

Valid Emergency First Response (EFR) / CPR & First Aid training completed within the last 24 months

Valid medical clearance for scuba diving

Minimum logged dives as required by PADI professional standards
